This late 18th century stone-built cottage has a charming feel, but its renovation and modernisation by the current owners in 2017 means that the historic character is supplemented with modern comforts including underfloor heating, superfast wi-fi and a wonderful conservatory garden room as well as the opportunity for outdoor dining in the private walled garden.
Three double bedrooms and one twin-bedded room provide very comfortable lodging for 8 adults and the possible addition of two cots makes the cottage suitable for larger family groups while the Sitting Room's leather sofas provide a great spot for relaxing evenings and the garden room offers the opportunity to get away from the tv (and other guests!)

The cottage is also often used by brides and their families and friends for weddings at Cripps Barn, Stone Barn and the Old Gore and at The Swan in Bibury all within 5miles and an easy 15minute drive, while the New Inn just round the corner offers the opportunity to give the cook a well-deserved evening off too!

Coln St Aldwyns is centrally located for all the great Cotswold sights and adventures with Cirencester and the Cotswold Water Park on the doorstep and easy access to Cheltenham, Stow-on-the-Wold and Oxford too.
Trips to Blenheim Palace, Daylesford, Bibury, Adam Henson's Cotswold Farm Park, the Cotswold Wildlife Park and visits to Chastleton, Snoswhill, Stanway, Chedworth Roman Villa, the extraordinary gardens of Hidcote and Painswick, Batsford and Westonbirt could keep the most demanding groups fully amused.
